@raised eyebrows

i am glad that i am not the only one who has undergone this :) and as both my friends have rightly said, our children will probably take more pride to see their mom a complete balanced woman in control of herself.My only dissappointment is when your many from your own circle leave that question mark.And i hope they soon change their minds.Or like my hub (my loving word for hubbies)says "don't get confused with remarks,its our decision and we know what we are doing is for the best" ...cheers to the new generation,liberated hubs :)

WOW !! how good you have put in the words of all moms mind...I guess this is the situation of all moms who had to leave their work to take care of their child....and reading your blog really gives a boost to all the Ex-working moms,and also make them come out of the guilt of not being a good mom.Thanks..I took up a 4 hours job(my kid goes to 4 hour school) and that was giving me a guilt feeling of not spending enough time wit energy to spend with her/him....but your raised eyebrows really raised the Confidence.

i am glad anonymous that i could do a bit to boost you...its completely on us how well we take charge of our lives, and be the best judge of how we balance our lives...you are very special to your child and that will never change..good luck woman :)

Darling..there are two sides to every coin. Hopefully it is not your intention to reflect stay-at- home moms in bad light. This is a very individual thing, as your hubs as well as my hub says "don't get confused with remarks,its our decision and we know what we are doing is for the best." It cant be generalised.While going back to work holds good for you, it may not be such a great idea for someone else. Though your decision
deserves to be respected..so does everyones elses...Wish u good luck and shiv definately looks like a well bred boy and hopefully will continue to do so.

@shweta
Hey shweta you missed my point- i have specifically mentioned this is about individual choice and decision.No where have i put stay at home moms in bad light.Infact if you have read my note i have also said that i salute the decisions of the moms who decided to stay at home to look after their kids.I have been doing and still doing it - and i have not done anything so tough in my life.I always say to my ex-boss,colleagues- the clients/customers are damn easy to handle than doing this.So do not in anyway think that i have any disrespect towards your choice.I have mentioned about my experience and many others too undergo the same when they plan to start working..thats all...:) take care
